MakeHuman: some screenshots from next release

This is some captures from one of new features
of the next release (I hope to release it before
the end of october): the target preview. I’m working
hard to increase the user-friendly of interface, semplify
the command, make the class robust and, of course,
to add new cool features and useful targets.

Cheers,

   Manuel

Wow, very impressive Manuel.

You’re really making Blender alot more valuable tool to use.
I almost feel like I have an unfair advantage over people using other software

Any more clues on what cool features (other than what is shown in the posted images, of course) that the make Human team is working on?

Thanks.

The main features that I’m working on is:

Facial expression library
Use of my truesplacement module, when it’s ready
No linear morphing (I hope)
Autoskinning
External file for mesh generation
MakeManga

Oops…In the screenshot I’ve write “litte” instead “little”! :expressionless:

ow kewl! I’m enjoying the current version. THIS is exactly what I need :). I’m working on adding armatures to the model. The deformation is a bit tricky… let’s see.

thanks for scripting such a plugin… just awesome!

MakeManga? :o

I can finally delete all the unfinished anime meshes that I could never get right? :expressionless:

personaly I hope the crew wont work too hard on it. I like the other stuff more :).

Another little feature that I forget to mention is
the generation of mesh entirely by the script
(actually the Base mesh is included in .blend).

I’m working on adding armatures to the model. The deformation is a bit tricky… let’s see.

If the skinning of Basemesh (without morphing applied) is good,
can you post here the result? The “autoskinning” feature will be based
on armature-weight setting by hand on prototype.

well that problem I got with the deformation… the mesh does not fit the edgeloop technology which makes it extremly hard getting a smooth deformation.

I downloaded the newest version, and i was confused on how to use it and i also couldn’t find a website to go to for the project that was still up. Can you give me one?

Nice

But you should put red-blue-green in the legend, not red-green-blue

Stefano

I think one of the most important additions (if not already done) to the script would be a usable base Armature.

Can i please get some help???

Can I skin and rig my own custom made character models with this script? Or do I have to use the Makehuman generated script models only?

The Jerm: The website is the one you downloaded the script from,

You are having difficulty because morph targets have not yet been set although a file of targets is included in the download. If you want to set them yourself it was discussed in a previous thread about a month ago. The new developments discussed on this thread have not yet been released.

Thanks

Manuel, that sure looks cool. I shall have to give it a try. Thanks for all of your hard work. Now with Ter2Blend, MakeHuman, and PlantStudio, anyone should be able to make some very realistic scenes. Very cool stuff there with the mutants!

Thanks!

The coding for MH 1.5 is complete. Now I’m working to
make the script useful: fill the targets library.

Here the last screenshots:
http://www.dedalo-3d.com/makehuman_screenshots.html

There is no armature actually, only simple transformation.

When the most usefull targets is ready (age, male, female, muscle, fat)
I release the 1.5. For the 1.6 I want add the skin material, with autoUV,
and try to export it in Yafray:

Now I’m little busy. When I’ve time, write the new documentation
(a lot of commands now is simplified), and after search here some
betatest…

Ciao,

     Manuel

REAL NICE
