today I would like to share my progress on my anime style short film that I am currently working on. Yesterday I finished the background works and today I started animating.

Creating NPR stuff is hard to achieve. This is the first part of my short film and there are so many things I struggle with. And the difficult scenes are yet to come… I have to keep my motivation high.

Sigh … Poor little cat …
But the scene looks quite well-made. Shadows look good. A nice film noir feel to it all.
I suggest that you block the scenes all out in advance and then just start working your “to-do list” from the easiest to the hardest. Be certain that you know well in advance and in detail exactly what all of the scenes will be.
