I have searched very long for a tutorial that explains understandably how to make an eye in blender. I have found the one for making a pixar eye, and it is not detailed at all, but confuses me(a new blender user but not complete newb)! I wish to learn how to make a nice looking eye for cartoony characters. PLEASE post. I need answers!

something is wrong with blender… laggy. 
I am stuck! how do i make the outer eyeball? i know it must be easy.
Despite my sig? What is that supposed to mean :< Btw how is a lot of links supposed to help?(not trying to be rude.) i looked through them but didnt see anything about making an outer eye.

i am not, i just normally use ico spheres. The need has never arisen where i had to use one. And to the other guy, it is just a signature! of course i learn! Sorry for the confusion and disrespect to other people on my part.
