I am very new to blender. I am making a game character to export to unity. The thing is that the feet are not attatched to the body, which might rotate to other directions in the game.
My scene is the objects Chest, leftFoot, rightFoot, rightArm, leftArm, head. None of them are attatched to the other.
I would like to make an animation where the feet walk, independent of the body. How would i do that?
Also, how would i set up the armature since the feet are not connected and are different objects?
The feet dont even have to have more than one bone in them, i just want them to move

The character does not have to be a single object to use a single armature. You can parent different objects to the different bones of the rig. If you don’t want to do that then just join all the separate objects together.
For rigging/animation watch some tutorials on blendercookie or youtube
Thank you!
I think I get it now. I have one more question however. If i set the armature of the feet’s parent to the feet and make an animation, can i run another animation with the rest of the body?
