Making lights in shooted video with 3D?

I have shooted video over the blue screen. I want to add more lights and shadows to my actor (to get more dramatic look). My problem is that when i shooted that video, I lighted too much my actor from front and in shooted material she doesnt have much facial shadows/shades to help me out + she’s having black long hair. I want fake lights to my shooted video to corresponding my 3d enviroment. In 3D enviroment there is light coming from top to down but its more like harder and stronger than my shooted video.

In my shooted video im riding towards to actor with dolly so there is camera movement but actor isnt moving much.

So my question is , what kind of techniques i could use to fake/create lights in 2D video material(lightning my actor)? (I want to avoid frame by frame painting  ) Any ideas? I need brainstorming

Im using fresh CVS version of blender.

Here’s current 3D enviroment, what im using without actor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5BUKN1euO8
Tip: watch it with fullscreen , to see it better (its quite dark)

If it were me, I’d re-shoot the actor. That’s the simplest and quickest solution. Other than that I have no ideas for you. Trying to change the lighting in video never looks as good as good as when it’s shot right from the start.

Yeah, that’s very true but… :). This is kind of test shoot (not commercial) and this is first time when im going to combine real-life material and CG material. So this project purpose is challenge myself and of course push blender limits. So im quite happy that I have this kind of problems because then i have something to solve and of course something to learn :). This is good exercise and problem to learn and if im going to make this kind of work to my major job because I bet, I will hit this problem with my clients works aswell. So re-shooting isnt solution for this :).
