Making opengl render in background ?

Hi,

We try to make and opengl render in backgroup with python, but, it seems it’s not possible.

read blend: E:\Blender\bibliothèque\asset_management_library	est.blend
Error: Cannot use OpenGL render in background mode (no opengl context)
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<string>", line 2, in <module>
  File "C:\Users\pistiwique\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scrpts\addons\addon_wip\render_script.py", line 12, in <module>bpy.ops.render.opengl()
  File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\modules\bpy\op.py", line 189, in call ret = op_call(self.idname_py(), None, kw)
RuntimeError: Error: Cannot use OpenGL render in background mode (no opengl con
ext)

Is there a way to do that or is there a way to extract the ID_THUMB of a scene as png ?

Thx for your help :wink:
