Making smooth end caps for a NURBS object?

I’m trying to make an egg shaped thing with NURBS. :slight_smile:
So far, I’ve beveled and tapered a NURBS circle along a bezier curve to get the general shape. However, with this approach, I’m left with two sharp points at either end of the egg. How do I get rid of these?

id try to redo the model by using a cube, subdividing it a few times and using to sphere (shift+alt+s) to make the basic shape, then you wont have those end points


I want to learn how to do it using NURBS

is it not possible to do this using NURBS?
