Hi,
First of all, sorry if the question seems dumb, I’m quite new to Blender and I’m trying to catch up as fast as possible.
Here is my problem: I’ve modeled a head, lit it up and placed my camera, and I would like now to make an animation out of it. To animate the head in itself I chose the shape key method which gives acceptable results, and the animation of the light intensity is also quite clear.
I would like now to add an effect in my animation to make the head get progressively visible. I tried to play with the alpha channel, but this leaves a hole the form of the head on the light spots, which is definitely not what I want. I looked at layer IPO, but there the layers are either present or not, so the head will be completely visible or invisible, never “partly” visible…
I’m out of ideas, can someone give me some advice on how to produce such effect ?
Thanks in advance
