This is my first post ever of my own project on elysiun, and please give me as meny tips as you can.[/img]

The main thing I see right now is that the back of the neck is WAY too far back. Otherwise, from one noob to another it looks good.

Looks nice, but you might want to work on the eyes a bit… unless you are going for a clay type look. Also, if you want to embed images in your page, you can click the img button in the reply thingie at the top, paste the link, then hit img again to close the tag.

Stormy no im not going for a clay image, and thank you for telling me that. And Junkie is this better for the neck:

Much!

Wow, it’s starting to look good  . You might want to work on the area where the nose meets the head… that looks like the nose is not connected… like, it is ok to have a small bit of that there, but I think you need to tone that down  .

Nice work so far LoonieToon!

I gotta fix everything on the nose, I think it’s the worst part of the face.

Is this better for the nose?

I will not have much time to work on the head due to homework. I have a big english assignment, (got to type on computer alot) so I will not work on the head for like 2 days.

But while im gone PLEASE give me tips and ideas for this model, so I can work on it later.

make some lips, and the eyelids.

There problems I can see with the nose are:
1.The crease is too long and not rounded enough
2. The nostril is too small, the edge closest to the tip of the nose should be a lot closer.

Take a look at someones nose in 3/4 to see what I mean.

Keep it up!

I will try to work on the nose more (Because I just finished my english).

Looks nice, but needs some work. I’m modeling a head, too. You should read my thread, because there are many tips, especially on the second page. You can find it here:

https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49739&start=0

You should try the reference image as a background picture, You do not have to trace every aspect of the head, but it helps.

Thank you people for your tips! I am still working on the nose though (Because school takes most of my time away).

And if enyone whats to know I did not use a refrence pic.

Here’s A new update to the nose! I have finally had time to work on it, and I
think this nose is better than the one I had first.

The next thing im going to do on this is the lips.

Can enyone show me a tutorial? or maby advice on making lips?

Yes the nose is really looking better. But it seems that you have too much geometry. You should post a wire picture. Just press Ctrl + F3 when you’re over the 3d view.
