I just wanted to do something with the moon in it, so here it is.
An EMB-190 passing through the moon and leaving his contrail behind it.
It’s made with the blender internal render and it didn’t take much time to achieve this nice result; some postproduction with GIMP (refraction of the contrails) and it’s done

Hey. Not much to say on the technical side of things, although the plane could be rendered more realistically (if that is desired, there is nothing to say against stylization). I really like the composition though, it is just very aesthetically pleasing. Could be a poster for a movie or something like that.
I completely agree with that!
The airplane is well textured, i think that the reason of why it looks fakeish is the blend between the airplane and the moon in the background AND the airplane has a good detail. This last thing may sound crazy but if we take a photograph like this in the real world, the airplane would look blurry and with poor detail.
Other thing i should definetely work on, is the contrails… they look fake as well.
