I decided to find a use for the face model I’ve been working on in focused critique here. It’s sort of inspired by Rembrandt, I guess.
Hope it’s bright enough. Looks fine on my monitor.
It’s nice! One section that might need some work is the hair. it’s seems sorta straw like (coarse). other than that, the model is really nice.
He’s got quite a large nose.
I like the style.
So, does this mean you’re… “going for baroque”?
radialronnie: Thanks. You’re partially right about the hair, but I’m pretty happy with it.
Hobo Joe: Thanks. His nose is large, I agree
Well… no… I’m going for a baroque mood, if anything.
I like your overall composition and color choices here, but the man looks a bit creepy. Though, if that was your intent, then well done.
can u share the node set-up?
Looks like an elderscrolls piece of artwork. Great style, i really dig the mood and lighting. Keep it up mate!
Hippie: Yeah, I don’t mind him creepy:)
camotech: Sure.
TheANIMAL: Thanks!
Looks very nice!! IMO there’s a bit too much glare/glow though…
Thanks! There is a lot, but I was kind of going for an ‘old painting’ style.
Looks like you achieved it to me! Great nodes work man, great piece.
Sweet! I particularly like how the shadows ‘bleed’, very interesting effect that you’ve achieved.
looks great… but he need a feather i think, in term of composition there a lot of emptiness, a sugestion… a window, like the painting of Vermeer.
