mancandy dances in 3d...now 26 sec

I have several projects going at once…and they all kinda got garbled together…

here’s a very short video of mancandy dancing…
like greenscreened Donnie Osmond…
in 3d…

Hey! couldn’t watch. what format is a .dvd?

hrmmm… works fine in linux… it’s mpeg-2 with audio…try renaming it to .avi

I know they’re all thinking I’m so White N’ nerdy! plays fine here on VLC and MPlayer on Linux, good job

Good job!!..but too short…

haha, funny animation!

.::PiPi::.

have fun =]

I updated the file link in the 1st post with a new video that is 20 sec long (5 meg)… and I tried different ffmpeg settings too…

Glad you all like it so far…it’s been fun diving into char animation & rigs for the first time, and the last week has been a real learning experence. It will be interesting to see how long I can keep focused on this…the dang video is still 8.5 times longer than this (170 sec) and I’m not sure if it is worth putting in the time to finish it…

What codec is it? WMP can’t play it for me. I got the audio though, and I love that song! Where did you get the audio file?

Dang windows…… Well, this time it’s divx (mpeg-4) with mp2 audio…don’t know what to say other than what you read above about trying VLC…

It’s Al Yankovic’s White and Nerdy… I found it here when I was looking for greenscreen footage to test my seq plugin

I know the song, I was just wondering how you got the audio track for your video. Can’t save the video from youtube, and even if I could, I wouldn’t know how to extract the audio.

Well, … I used a Kommander script to convert the flv to avi and then just loaded it into the SE and there was the audio…

seems to me that there was a thread here somewhere about saving youtube video to avi…

if you get an ffmpeg build you should be able to get the audio out of the video in blender too…

BTW: another update… now the final video is in the background too
