I have Mancandy 2.1 in Blender 2.46. How do I turn on IK? There don’t appear to be any sliders in any of the layers!
Cheers

I just found out that you cant use anything but Mancandy 2.3 in 2.46. Get the latest version at free fac(tory).org. (not sure if thats the correct site name?)
I’ve been using Mancandy 2.1 in blender 2.46 for a while. Just loaded MC2.3 and can’t see any difference as yet… But it still provides no clue as to how to turn on IK.
I dont know. I still havent gotten around to downloading it yet. I’m not a rigging wiz, maybe PM Bassam. (May not be a good idea, but worth a try. His username is slikdigit if you didnt know.)
I see on his Blog that a v2.4 is imminent - I might wait…
Oh, cool I might wait, too. When I was playing with my defunct Mancandy yesterday, I realized there is no IK. At least I could find any. Seriously, I am not always too fond of IK on arms, especially long ones like Mr. Candy’s got. So if I am right, I can see why there is none. Hope 2.4 comes soon!!!
Actually, with a bit of assistance from others IK can be turned on and off (and keyed) manually within an animation. There is an IK constraint on each of Bicep, Forearm and hand. It is a matter of turning up the influence of the IK constraint on each of these bones and setting the hand bones to use the IK hand controller. One can then key on and then key off again as one needs (for all 6 bones). So when I needed the hands locked to a surface I keyed IK on then keyed it off again when I needed just AutoIK or off on the hands to have straight FK.

I use mancandy 2.0pre6 in 2.46 and it just works fine.
The FK/IK slider is a small circle set to full FK for me. Just select and grab. LocX.
Does that version have a locked open jaw and offset eyes in v2.46? 2 and 2.1 both suffer this fate!
Cheers

Yes, in order for it to work you must have 2.3.
Select the mancandy object, not the armature, and press alt-H to show all hidden objects. The sliders are there.
