I’ve just tested this distro and I like it a lot.Although i am not sure i think it is the first distro that uses xgl and compiz with no problems and it is really use friendly! What do you think about it ?
Heh, hardware accelerated desktop graphics. Total waste of GPU resources if you ask me.
It looks nice, sure, but I really don’t see how it adds to efficiency.
There are a couple of nice features (that have a use other than just eye candy) like the inbuilt kompose style window selector (which is quick enough to use), and trailfocus. But I’m waiting for integration into existing WMs before it becomes a permanent addition to my desktop.
As for being first, Kororra was from memory.
