Mansion interior, with colonial furniture

Hey everyone! Haven’t posted here in a long time, had a very busy last year at school…

Here’s the picture I’ve been working on the past few week. All the modelling is done with Blender, the rendering was done with Cinema4D. Comments, suggestions? It’s almost finished, I guess only smaller thing need to be changed/added.

I think the wood is too reflective and the shadows a bit too strong (dark?).
Those are the only two problems i could think of. Fantastic pic otherwise!

I think I should really stop commenting other people’s works and get something done myself. Among all these fantastic pictures I have nothing to show. sigh This is the lowest point in my 3/4 year blending career yet. sigh-sigh But I shall rise again once my desert rover is complete! I swear!

Wow! I really like it! I agree with carnivore about the reflectivity. I also have a few things you could try:

  1. Turn down the spec of the materials in general.
  2. The railing and the ceiling look awfuly low in comparison to the chairs
  3. The upstairs area looks very crowded with the furnature up there.

If you fixed those things, I think this could be a VERY cool pic.

PS. Maybe some more dramatic lighting?

Thats the smallest mansion I’ve ever seen!! It doesnt really have and upstairs that you can walk thru.
