Many Materials in one object

hi , i have one more question :stuck_out_tongue:

i have one object , ( so in object mode it is selected as one object )
now i would like to use 3 to 4 materials for this one object , is it possible
and how do i do it pls :slight_smile: thx a lot

ok thx it worked

but i have a problem
i use blender 2.40 rc1 thing

i did a subsurf , but i cant undo it , once i finish subsurf , it disappears
is there a way i can delete the subsurf ? tx

You usually don’t “apply” the subsurf. Applying the subsuf converts it to a mesh and the modifier disappears. If you hadn’t applied the subsurf you could have turned the modifier off or deleted it to undo. If you haven’t done too much since you applied your subsurf ctrl-z might work.

well , it didnt work :smiley:

but i fixed it , just put back to solid or something dunno exaclty
and its fix
