Hi Blender community,
I’m doing a shortfilm and I need to optimize rendertimes. It’s for interiors and I test many things like portals, only the HDRI… to throw the rays inside. Now I want to test another classic. Using and area light with a gradient color to define the outside incoming.
What I can’t achieve is to map correctly the ramp color to the area light. I saw mapping point lights, etc. Butto solve correcly this problem, I need an area light.
Using a emission geometry is not a solution for me. It’s noisy as hdri.
