Mapping texture correctly

Hello

i’d like some hint on how to map this brick texture correctly. these are two different objects, but the seamless texture isn’t matching each other borders… I tried changing lots of things, to no avail. the seam can clearly be seen between the objects.

and this is what I came up with so far…

if possible, i’d like to do it without UV unwraping. and I don’t know if it changes anything, but both objects are mirrored and are part of dupliverts…

Thanks in advance!

Im new to blender so take this for what its worth…

If you where to get the left building looking how you want it, use that texture node setup for your right building but use it as “New Martial”, use the mapping node shift the image side-to-side with the ‘location’ parameter and line everything up and blend the seam in.

Dont think you can do this with the same single Martial for both building cause you will move the image on both objects and it will never lineup, you need to beable to control each independently.

Theres probably a better (or automatic) way to do this, but that should work.

thanks, but that’s impracticable. if I have about 10 objects with the same texture, it becomes kind of overkill for such a simple thing. and will become messy with more objects… i need to know how to tile them correctly

EDIT: I just found out the problem. its a old ‘friend’ of mine: scales. i just applied the scales to all objects (with CTRL+A) and it now works perfectly. thanks anyway
