The Simpsons is one of those rare shows that I still watch today based solely on how much I enjoyed the previous seasons. I think it might be up to around season 22 or something, and while I have not enjoyed a full season for about 11 years, it still makes my DVR list because one episode in every 5 is worth watching (mainly ones where Lisa is minimized, and there is no singing or flashbacks). Now, perhaps it is the cynic in me (which is pretty much ALL of me) but I think tonight’s jab at Apple may simply be an attempt to generate some buzz on the interweb amongst tech geeks, and since I am writing about it, mission accomplished. So basically, he copies the text and opinion of someone else, without any reference to it and sells it as his own, starting a new thread. I like new threads, but i dont need them to come in any way possible…
I thought it was funny. As I am neutral as to what OS I use (they’re all good, they don’t usually crash), I thought it was refreshing to poke fun at someone other than Microsoft for a change.
Oh, and in the media like movies, EVERYONE uses a powerbook. Where’s your originality, Hollywood?? There’s gotta be SOME Linux or XP or Vista or SOMETHING!
