Mark The Fish**UPDATE** Textures, Anim Test, The Model...

Well, It seems everybody makes a toon fish of some kind at some point in their CG career, so heres my attempt…
Meet Mark:

Nothing special, but the model is done(unofficialy). Hes only about 15 minutes of work, so nothing extremely(ahem, at all) complex…
One problem I have is:
The wierd seperator between the eyes(bridge of the non-existant nose?) is a little funky…
All C&C welcome, I want to give him a a good texture, but who knows…he may be grey forever…

Aw, c’mon… At least give him textured eyes and a smile. He looks like - a model for a model’s sake.

Ha, I wasnt serious, he should have a beginning texture and eyes and whatnot by tommorrow…Im switching between this and another project(a realtime city) so I dont get bored…

Alright, Its Been a While, picked this up earlier today, rigged, textured(working on blend shapes) a short(really short) animation test.

and a really short swim test…

Anyway, Thanks for looking, make sure you look at the vid, it looks better than the still.

Nice animation, but too short. Seemed like Mark wasn’t bending much as he came around the corner, but it might have just been the camera angle. You could add an animated texture to the light so it shimmers like it was shining through wavelets on the surface. That would be cool.

yeah, Ive been trying to figure tht out…

Try something like this. http://www.i-tex.de/help/functions/generator_caustics.htm

I actually have tried thing slike this, animating spot textures…
They didnt work. But Ill try again, mybe I messed something up…
Anyway, thanks blackboe
