Ive been working on this for awhile, it was more of a learning process for me. please let me know your thoughts!
Hmmm, hard to view and understand this image. At first I thought this was an underwater scene. Mainly because of the really dark background, because that’s what you see when diving and looking right into the ocean. Brighten it up, either by extending the landscape or just giving it a brighter color (although it might still be confusing when only changing the color).
The foreground is too busy. I’m sure there’s a message (ok, not only literally, I mean symbolically), with the balloon and the gnome peaking behind the tree. But there’s too much stuff in between: the mushrooms, the big chunk of tree, the evil plants… It makes the scene overly complex when having a first look at it.
