Hello here,
I started with small sketch on paper. This is result in Blender.
Next i will be better 
The models seem very simplistic, but I feel like that was the intention.
Everything here looks like it was done on purpose, but I think for my personal opinion on the style I would actually have to see the completed work.
In terms of how it is now as a rendered sketch, my personal opinion would be to add just a touch more detail on the models and their clothes, however if it was deliberately done in this simplistic manner then ignore what I just said. I very much love the direction this render is going in. =3
