Mass deleting actions

Hi, I have searched the internet but could not find anywhere a solution to my problem.

I have used the BGE feature to record animations in the game engine because I wanted to use the rigid body physics for an animation. I recorded the animation of 5000 separate meshes, and want to get rid of all these actions because it has made my .blend file ~750Mb.

Is there any way to navigate inside the blend file and delete all these actions at once or another way to delete them all quickly because I don’t want to go through all of them and remove the fake user for every one.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I’ll add that I tried to use the data browser in 2.49 but it would not load my blend file.
