In Blender 2.79b has anyone else had problems with the Matcap shader not working?

I have found that in Blender 2.77a I am not having any problems using the Matcap shader. Does anyone know if there has been an OpenGL change in Blender 2.79b?

I haven’t had any matcap issues with the default matcaps that come with blender. Are you using the original matcaps or are you using an add-on matcap?

I’m using the original matcaps. I’m thinking that Blenders Direct 3D engine may have changed and my video drivers are not compatible.

Evidently something did change in Blenders shading software. I updated my graphics card and now things are looking the way they are supposed to.
