Material Color in GLSL?

Possibly a noob question but can’t find an accurate answer anywhere. My issue is, in ‘Shading: Texture Face’ I could change the Material color ‘RGB’ on a textured object and it would show up in game-
(a grey-bricks texture cube would become red if i changed its material color- red).

But now that I decided to us Shading: GLSL, the material color isn’t showing up in game (it’s still a grey bricks textured cube).

Is there a setting I need to turn on? Or is this not possible in GLSL?

Set the blend mode of the gray brick texture for the material to Multiply (in the Texture panel).
