Material/texture emit doesn't refresh on frame change with GLSL


Using Blender 2.56, I am animating the emit value of a material with texture. I am using GLSL, and when I change the emit value manually I can see its effect in the viewport.

But when I put keyframes for this emit value, and then move in the timeline or hit playback, there’s no effect in the 3D viewport. I can switch on the “Property editors” in the playback menu, and when moving along the timeline, the emit value does change in the property field, but the view doesn’t seem to refresh.

Note that this renders properly, and that the problem doesn’t seem to occur when using a material without texture.

How to fix that? Is this a bug?
