Where is the GUI for the Math Function XYZ Math Surface?
I can create the default surface (snail shell) in Blender 2.79b & 2.81,
but do not see the GUI to change the parameters or to insert an equation,
or the Presets library (?)
This tutorial for 2.79 shows the GUI, but I can’t find it in the Tool Shelf in 2.79b or under Tools in 2.81.
In Blender 2.81 you can press F9 to bring up the options and presets, however you must do this immediately after adding the object, or it will not work.
In your screenshot it appears as though you have added the object and then selected it, this will remove the options.

I had looked high & low, pushing every button, looking under each rock, nook & cranny…would never have guessed F6/2.79 or F9/2.81.
I want to see if I can create a Calabi Yau space with it.
But even if it doesn’t have the ability, it will be a whole new way to
model for me, and hope to create some interesting objects with it.
