Just wondering if it was possible to make objects and meshes out of mathematical formula,

As some formula describes how certain things can be made eg. fractals although this is not a good example, maybe a formula for a bubble…

So is this possible or would I have to use a python script…?

There is a script called BAG (Blender Analytical Geometry) for this sort of thing. Never used it myself and I’m not sure it works with the latest Blender versions - still you should check it out.
