this might sound noob but i have searched and cant find how to create Matte/flat like colours, such as a flat white/grey rather then glossy… i really like the effect it gives, especially for WIPs or just untextured renders. anyone help?
you select your mesh, go to meterial button, go to shader tab, put the Spec slider to 0, this should kill the shinyness
Also change the difuse shader to Oren-nayar
it will give a flatter result without being toon
You can also disable Specular highlighting in your lamps.
I use the Shadeless button. that takes care of it.
I think that actually gives it a constant shader rather than diffuse. I doubt that’s what he’s looking for. Is it?
