I hate to start a new thread, but i could not find what i was looking for and plus I want a thread to post some of my stuff.
I have been trying to use python to make an in-game screenshot that also shows the uv textures that are on the stuff i’m taking a pic of. I want it to be button activated in-game and save to a specified file name. I have faled miserably every time. What I want to use it for is to have a uv textured plane that will have a pic that this screenshot will write over so you can have a log of the shot to sell to a fictional in-game company. (think Jurassic Park: Operation Geneisis.)
Can someone tell me where to find a script that at least saves an in-game screenshot to a specified filename. thank you.
Also on another note i’m making a low poly content pack (all things 500 verts or less. Maybe 1000 verts tops) for anyone to use in their games. (same licince as blender) and if anyone wants to contribute they can send models to me at [email protected]. Mainly trees and stuff that are used to give the game more life. The less verts the better.(i.e. rocket that is 50 verts or less) If you want to know how many verts are in your model (2.41) go to edit mode, select all, press “W”, choose merge >> at center, and add 1 to the verts it removes. then press U a couple of times.
If you will please put a text in with the model explaining it. All models welcome and they will be found at the blender model repository as a zip file when i have enough models.
