To me, Maya looks very messy and patchy from these videos…

Maya’s UI definitely is very messy for modeling, but it has a few good tools in there. i think the poster was just showing some competing tools he wants in blender. :slight_smile:

But more or less we kind of have them in bmesh already, don’t we?

If a work-in-progress branch not remotely ready for production work is equivalent to a program being shipped… well then yes, Blender has already them.
