Maya to Blender 2.5?

Could you model something in Maya(Or 3DS Max. As I’m undecided) And then export to Blender 2.5 to sculpt?.

I’m talking about after 2.5 is completed.

What I’m concerned about is the export.


Also. The sculpting in 2.5 will eventually get as good as in 2.49. Right?.

For an example in 2.49 with the add tool you could add eyes(circles) and a mouth. Where in 2.5 you would need to use the inflate tool(For the eyes), And you get more of a pinched hill then a circle.
