Mazda RX-7 rendered in Yafray

This is my second attempt in rendering a car, so show no mercy on me, I want critics!! 8)

It doesn’t look that clean of a model. Can you post a wireframe so we can give you some critiques on cleaning up your model.
It looks like a good start though. Good luck

Ok, I’ll give you some crits. First, the pieces of the model seem to far apart. Looks like the front bumper would fall off. It looks to me that you post-processed the blur and you missed all the plane (left side) but thats minor. I would like to see a texture on the wheels. Right now they just look totally black. Some parts on this model look a little low-poly (i.e. parts on the front bumper). As for the render, put a scene around it so it makes the render better appealing to people. Thats all i can see right now. Good work so far.

More newbies !!!
I think you should work more with your Depth Of Field filter. Modeling is great, and materials are better. Now try it with Povray :).

M@dcow … what about it?

I would tone down the reflection a hair.

The reflectrion is a little to much IMO. Also, the seams are too far apart. You have the basic shape down, just needs to be cleaned up.

Well done, and welcome.

Ahhh too shiny! take it easy with the reflections

I think you need to reduce the glare.

Lower the reflection, it’s not like every car is made of mirrors you know. And it’s painfully obvious that you are using a image reflection. In such a dull environment it catches the eye waaaaaaay too much. Nice model though. Nothing to add besides the earlier comments.
