e Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.[1]:1 These preferences were extrapolated from the typological theories proposed by Carl Gustav Jung and first published in his 1921 book Psychological Types (English edition, 1923).[2]

yeah, that’s me in a limited way. funny how it says both sensitive to possibilities and yet a non-conformist. but it is true when I look at my life.
some of the jobs… lol You’d have just as good of luck with a completely random set of jobs…

ENTP - “Inventor”. Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population.
I think this is sort of accurate. At least, I’m sensitive to the possibility.

Fun stuff, I’ve always liked Jung’s work.
If this doesnt work for you, you could always try astrology.
Honestly tho, I had to do this last year as part of an engineering degree, and I found it a bit silly. It just puts a label on your personality and shoves you into a category.
This poses a similar concept to a game developers function I went to earlier this year, they had an intro presentation, then 3 different seminars you could go to after to listen to industry experts talk and ask them questions etc, of course these three seminars were all on at the same time, so you had to choose one.
The man explained the first seminar was for people who could look at a sunset and appreciate it, and think about recreating it in 3D for a game or some other artistic medium, this was the seminar fortheArtists.
I though “Yes! That sounds like me”
The second seminar was described as one for people who enjoyed working on problems, usually involving math and a large amount of logical design. This was the seminar for the Programmers.
I thought “Yep, I’d really like to go to that one as well”
The third was one was for people interested in starting their own business, for team leaders who wanted to learn how to manage people better, and get their business up and running. This was for the Businesses.
And after spending the last year getting my own buisness up and running I thought “Ahu… Thats me as well…”
So all in all I only got one third of the knowledge and advice I could have got that day, only because someone had made the assumption that ALL artists hate programming and will never start a business and ALL programmers cant do art etc etc.
Thats the danger of putting people into categories, and thats why the MBTI test came across as a load of rubbish to me.
“Field Marshall”. The basic driving force and need is to lead. Tend to seek a position of responsibility and enjoys being an executive. 1.8% of total population.
Keep in mind that this is only based on the values you enter.
I promise you when others enter the test for you the result might or will be different.
Also with age the outcome will be different.
There is a lot of debate about this test since many companies utilize it.
But if an employee enters wrong values because they have a wrong impression about
them-selfs then the outcome is different and wrong.
Best is to make this test multiple times and let others do it this way for you as well.
Then average out the result.
I was scared to try this but it came out favorably! Apparently I’m prone to irresponsibility. That’s very very true! I recently lost my driving license.
Strangely I’m employed as a programmer in an IT company!
People you are close to tend to know a lot about you, sometimes saying they find traits in you that you may not have thought of. Examples for me is my former teacher who I’ve had for several years and my parents.
Even though you are pretty much the only one who can truly take that information and confirm it in most cases.
