Me wants to tweak the UI too!
Me no can code :´(
is this gui as fast as the normal one?
Well this is an older box PII333 so not as fast, but… it’s no slower than using TTF so… it’s pretty speedy… i just like it… Note, this is not my hack… i just was playing with colors…
I like the tabs

Also…I took broken’s ideas and played with it a little. …heres what I came up with…
No more colors…we can use a couple different variations of gray and black (like I did for the render button versus the salmon color that it is now) The render button’s text would glow while the scene is rendering…and would stop when the render is complete. The same goes for other buttons in the interface that are dependent upon calculations (ie. radiosity button, etc). As for the OSA and MBLUR buttons, the extra’s that go along with these options and others would not appear until they are activated. At that time broken’s slider bars appear showing these “extras”, cleans up the interface even more don’t ya’ think . I really like your sliders! Anyways I got this idea from your theory on the drop downs…get rid of anything that does not need to be there at that time. Stream line that baby!!!

I don’t mind the tabs themselves per se, but I dislike the grayscale icons on the non-active tabs. You don’t realize what a great visual cue that red marble is until somebody grays it out!

P.S. similar comment about the buttons above … they’re awfully pretty, but hard to read!
(stand a little ways away from your monitor and compare it to the current blender buttons.)
boooh old version of copy loc
well, while everyone is whistling, maybe I’ll join too, albeit on a different melody.
