Measuring stuff in Blender 2.57

Hello,

Is there a way to measure things in Blender 2.57? For example, an edge or degrees of an angle. Is there a set of tools for measurement? If so, where are they? Thanks for your help.

In edit mode you can select to show length and angles in the properties panel (shortcut N)

Thanks Richard, I have it now. I know about the shortcut N but I guess I just missed the measuring tools before. That helps a lot.
