Good day!
I’m trying to make some basic mechanical models and I was thinking during basic animation it would be fantastic to manipulate the models (rotation mostly) where they would constrain their movement to a collision with another. An example would be a frame with a bore, a lever with a bore, and a pin to hold the two together. If i wanted to rotate or move one it would be great it they would move only to the point where they “collide” with the next mesh.
I’ve seen simple rotation constraints but there’s no relation between meshes. I’ve seen a few examples of physics in the game engine but was hoping there was an easier method. I’ve seen examples using bones but there’s still no constraint to a collision.
Any advice or direction with this would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
