medieval 3rd person

i was conistering starting a medieval 3rd person adventure type game. got a few questions

(1) the colisions for killing an enemy? do i make it in the sword or something?

(2) weapon switching/picking up.

This is up to you.
It makes sense to consider the weapon an the current wepaon status. But you need to consider the enemy, the relative positions etc. too.

The main questions for every games are:

What happens when?

The answers of these questions in all details - form the logic of your game.

Unfortunatly the answers must be understandable be the BGE ;). So it is your task to:

  • find the right questions
  • find the right answers to the questions
  • transform the answers into logic for the BGE
