Hey everyone, back with an update on my Medieval Castle project!
After fixing the initial material scaling issues, I realized the overall composition and environment felt a bit empty and lacked a sense of journey. I spent the last few days completely overhauling the layout to focus heavily on storytelling and scale.
Next Steps: Right now, I’m looking at the midground and background. The trees near the castle base feel a bit too uniformly lined up, so I’m going to break that silhouette to make it look more organic. I also plan to scatter some natural props (broken wooden logs, larger rocks) around the path and character to fill up the remaining minor gaps.
Would love to get some feedback on the current framing and layout before I move into the final prop placement and volumetric fog pass!
