This personal project is my attempt to teach myself this mantra: “Make it exist first, make it good later.”
I came across a photo of a Ferrari speeding across a snow plain and immediately thought, “That would make one hell of a CG render.” I pictured the Kalyazin radio telescope behind it. I told the idea to a friend as a form of accountability on 4 December 2025.
Then on 20 May 2026 I finally opened Blender and started building it. pulled it through, learned what I needed to know, and finished the project today, 5 August 2026.
This 10-second animation took 43 hours to render, split across four render sessions.
Also, I’m considering this post as a teaser for a potential animated short film.
Software used: Blender & DaVinci Resolve.
