(((SOLVED))) Hello, everyone. I am pretty new to Blender, and rather than learning all of the basics, I just started working on this tutorial (https://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=uAvG2E7p_W8) At 28:49, at his top menu, he clicks Add<Mesh<Image as Plane. The only options I have available at my top menu are File, Render, Window and Help. At my bottom menu, I have the Add option available…the only thing is, is that the Image As Plane option is not available. I have tried the shortcut for Add (Shift+A) but it is still not available. He is using v2.67 and I am using v2.72. I do not know if this has something to do with it. Does anybody know where I can find the Image as Plane option? I am not able to provide a link to my Blend File, but if a picture of my menus will help, I can provide that. Thanks in advance
This is the “Add Images as Planes” add-on. It should be bundled with Blender, just find it in User Preferences -> Add-ons and activate it.
Thanks Stan Pancakes, that helped.
