Hello, I am graduated Game Artist student… and this is my final year project. Made in a team of 5 ( designers, artists, programmers, etc ) I was in charge of the architectural enviroment modeling.
Fun fact, I was the only one in my team (maybe even in the school) that used Blender. The programmer used UE4, and animators used Maya.
However I said Blender is an awesome modeling soft…
Then we participated in the ROOKIES, (although I thought we would not stand a chance because is the one of the main global sites for the industry sponsored by Autodesk ) and surprise; we clasified!.
I highly doubt Autodesk allowing a Blender Game to win, however; there might be a chance in ‘‘People’s Choice’’ category; where the game with more votes wins.
So don’t take this as spam, just take a look at our game, if you like it… give us a LIKE in the contest.
My intention is to prove the industry and rub it a Autodesk face that we can make great games with Blender.
Mercand is strategic medieval management game set in France where you travel between 5 cities:
You are a merchant that buy resources from the markets and craft products on the workshops you buy, to sell them among the region… facing random climate, harzards, and natural events that affect your economy.

So if you enjoyed everything above, help us make this Blender Game to win…
