Merging UV Map Islands

Hi, I’m trying to map a low-poly helmet I created for a game but to save space on the file I’m Uv mapping onto the helmet, I was wandering if its possible to merge the mirror islands together. Here’s a picture of my UV map layout after unwrapping:


Would it be possible to somehow merge (or at least move an island to be on top of its mirror)? I tried to do it by rotating and moving but it faces the other way so it doesn’t work.

Try scaling an island on the mirror axis (the Y-axis according to your image) at an amount of -1.0 . . . along with any necessary rotations.
