In many parts of the worldm Christmas is today… for example in Skandinavia
Greek transliteration of “Christ” is “Xristos”. First letter “chi”. Represented as “X”. “Xmas” has been used as a fully acceptable abbreviation of “Christmas” by church-going folk for hundreds of years.
I’ve heard this before as well, but it’s been turned into a stripped down name for Christmas with the way people use it now. Let’s stop dicussing that so it doesn’t get this thread locked.
