Mesh Doesn't become parented and scaled weird

When i parent anything to my armature now it remains underneath it and is only faded out, additionally both have transforms applied and set to 1 but yet when i parent stuff to it , it still deforms stuff Capture

Did you get it to work? I think it looks like you parented the Cube and the Shoes to the hair but I cannot see what else is in the outliner. If the object has a armature modifier on it with the armature selected it will be affected.

Found the fix! My other meshes were in a different collection! Thanks so much for the help! you truly are a life saver
