mesh features

I was reading here, and I couldn’t help but notice a couple of things that I have wanted to be able to do in blender. Specifically Spin Edge/Spin Quad, and Connect.

I was thinking that there might be some way to duplicate these features that I am not aware of. Like I know that when I want to add a vertice inbetween to vertices on a poly I can just select the two and subdivide.

So does anyone know how to dup these two features??

Spin edge is select edge then press ctrl e > rotate edge cw or ccw

To copy what they have done with connect (which has created a triangle on a quad) select a face and press ctrl t (convert to triangle)
