Mesh is not visible

Hey There,

i have a strange Problem and i want to ask for help.

I export some models (OBJ or STL) from Agisoft Metashape to import in Blender.
Lets say i export 10 models, i can import 6 of them in Blender and everything is fine, the other 4 ones just do not show up.
In the right panel there is written their name (where also is the cube and the light and so on) but they are just not visible.

So i exported them again and again, changed their names, changed some properties, but they still do not show up.
What can be the Problem about this, does have anybody have a clue about this?

Thanks in Advance,

Eruator

Entirely possible they are way off the origin point, or so large that they are being clipped from view. Alter your view clipping to something much larger and select all, then press numpad ā€˜.ā€™ to view them.
From numeric view panel, check the scale & dimensions.
Often I end up going through a small procedure when importing from elsewhere. Select all, ALT+S to resect scale, alt+G to reset position. Make sure everything is selected and scale to something like 0.01 from the input scale. The giveaway is, if you canā€™t see you grid, the object is probably huge.

Thanks Colkai for your advice, but I am afraid that it did not work out.
Since I have no Numpad here I made the procedure you recommended me: ALT+S and ALT+G, when I realized that this does not help I set the scale to 0.1, than to 0.01 and than to 0.001but this also did not change anything.
Also all of my objects I load into the workspace should have the same scale, and the ones which work out, in other words which I can see, fit perfectly.

Is there any other advice?

You know that the N-Panel (N) under Item shows the position and size of your object? Mabe itā€™s just wwwaaaayy out 0,0,0 ??

Thanks for your advice, but the Object is in the center. See the location on the right side of the screenshot.

Ohh this is your unvisible object ?? Anyway we donā€™t know about the size of the other so canā€™t compareā€¦ and the center can be at 0,0,0 but the actuall vertices could have a thousends of unitd offsetā€¦
Another one: You can import them in a new scene?

Also in a new scene it is not visible.
To control what I am doing I loaded another object in the new scene, which was working fine.

A strange thing is, that I can load my object, which is not visible in Blender, in Meshlab where it is visible.

Oh then try to save it in meshlab and import in blenderā€¦ i once had a model with seemingly an error with the edges/face but was able to repair it in meshlab (or i had to do aā€¦ what was itā€¦ connect point cloud thingy)ā€¦

Thanks for your help, I cleaned it in meshlab

and saved it as a new mesh.

When I load it in Blender it is still not visible. It is not visible but I can see the dimensions.

Yesterday I also tried it with another computer, but it did not work there neitherā€¦

Try View ā†’ Frame Selected (Numpad .) ā€¦this object has to be somewhere

Hello, select the ā€œinvisibleā€ object and try :

3D viewport > object > set origin > geometry to origin

Thanks everybody for their help!

Especially to ā€œDigital Monster Yoan.Bā€ for the Solution. When I put geometry to origin like you explained the object came and is visible now!

Thanks a lot!
