After parenting the rig generated from Metarig to mesh, mesh twists in its calves.
Haven’t got the faintest idea why, what can be done to prevent it or how to fix it.
Have spent hours trying to modifying mesh, original metarig, generated rig, reset Bone positions etc. No go.
Rigify is marvellous, but am fast losing whatever time I saved with it on this glitch.
Also had a problem that if the metarig is scaled down to fit its mesh, the generated rig retains the original size (premodified metarig). Here I simply rescaled the mesh and rejigged the Metarig.
Is there any fix for this? I seem to remember I had similar probs in 2.49
