Trying to group things into collections I find the last one ‘support’ is the only one that will operate - unticking the collection clears all, the rest do nothing.
It sems to be a collection of collections.

As far as I can tell from your picture, a collection of collections is exactly what you have. It looks like everything got dumped into the Support Collection. Can you move things to their appropriate collection: Select the object, M> Click the appropriate collection in the pop up menu? Should look like this:
If that doesn’t work, sharing a link to the file might help you get the problem fixed faster.
