Hi all,
my first WIP over there even if I read this forum every day.
I work with blender 2.49 and I’m actually modelling a WW2 heavy fighter : Messershmitt Me-410 Hornisse (“Hornet”).
there is a twist on the prop. maybe not enough done.
thanks for your comment, of course i’ll do the cockpit panel. I’ve got a good documentation of it. but maybe not a pilot… because i’m too bad with human modeling…
for my personnal stuff and while 2.5 is not absolutly stable, i use the 2.49b version.
2 requests. Please, Pleeeeeease turn this bird over to 3DS and export for FSX. And when you do so please use bump maps otherwise wouldbe pilots of this bird will crash their computers…
aha
why not …
If my model satisfied me and if the quality is okay, i can create a low poly model for FSX with a normal map or a bump map, how many quads is good/requested by FS ?
For now, i’m concentrated on modeling. But exporting it for Flight simulator is a possibility.
I love WW2 aircraft… (and have spent many hours flying combat sims (Aces High, IL-2)) though I have to admit, I’ve never heard of the Me 410, which surprises me after reading the Wiki article on it.
I have a German Tiger I tank that I’ve been working on and the model is coming close to completion. I’ll probably post it here within the next month, when I’m happy with the model and before I start texturing.
But so far, your 410 is looking really nice.
(Have any wireframes renders/screenshots? I’m relatively new to the 3d world an am curious how it’s put together.)
Two things wrong at the moment that I can see. The spinners need to have slots not holes in them and the rear of the canopy is wrong. See attachments to illustrate.
Fantastic work.
Could you please show us some wires.
And can you tell me how heave you done those indents on tail ruder please. I’,m trying myself in WW2 aircraft modeling and this is a huge problem for me wit subsurf on.
